National Flag

Our national flag has two triangles joined together. The base is crimson and the boarder deep blue. The upper triangle has the imprint of the white moon with eight rays the lower triangle the imprint of the sun with twelve rays. The moon and the sun signify that Nepal will exists till the moon and the sun exist in the universe.

Our national flag is unique in the world. It reflects our culture, religion, history and bravery. The crimson
color represents the bravery of the Nepalis soldiers. The blue color signifies peace and friendship. We should keep up the glory of our national flag and safeguard the freedom and sovereignty of our motherland.

It was introduced after the peoples movement of 2063 B.S The national anthem elevates the character and glory of the country and at the same time it teaches the citizens their duty and responsibility towards the nation. All formal national festivals,
